The Sublime Horizon

The Sublime Horizon is a collection of abstract paintings inspired by the fleeting beauty of a distant thunderstorm observed from my garden. From a place of safety, the storm transformed the horizon into a luminous expanse of orange, where immense natural power became unexpectedly serene. Through bold colour, expressive brushwork and richly textured impasto, each painting explores the paradox of the sublime: the coexistence of awe and tranquillity, chaos and beauty.
