Why This Design

Like every postcard in The Sublime Horizon collection, this design began as an experiment with wet-on-wet acrylic paint, inspired by a distant thunderstorm I watched roll across the horizon from my garden. From a place of safety, the storm turned the sky into a luminous expanse of orange, immense natural power becoming unexpectedly serene. This postcard captures that sense of division, the darker weight of the storm held apart from a calmer, lighter space just beside it.
